Frequent Questions: Web Forwarding¶
We recommend that you use liveDNS with this service. If you are not, the form will prompt you to switch, and will help you make sure your DNS records have the appropriate entry to work properly.
It depends. When you create a new forward we automatically update your DNS records for you. Due to technical limitations beyond our control, it can take several hours for new DNS records to be propagated across the internet. Your web forward will not work until this has happened.
However, if you are editing a previously existing web forward then it is likely a change to your DNS records was not necessary. If this is the case, the change should take effect within a few minutes.
