What is an ACME subscription?

The ACME (Automatic Certificate Management Environment) protocol is a standard used to automate the management of SSL/TLS certificates (creation, validation, renewal, revocation and installation).

With an ACME subscription from Gandi, you will provide a list of domains, one or more, which will allow you to configure an ACME client on your side, which will automate all certificate management.

The subscription will link these domains to an ACME service provided by our two partner CAs, Sectigo and DigiCert.

For all users, professionals or individuals, wishing to automate the creation and renewal of their TLS/SSL certificates.

Attention

ACME is only a certificate creation/renewal subscription system. Their installation on the servers will always be your responsibility.
