Interactive Migration Help: Verify Account Information

In this step you will make sure that some important information in your account is correct. This will make sure the correct information appears in your V5 account.

Verify Account Type

First, you will want to check whether your account is an individual account or a an account for a company, association, or other public entity.

Do this by going to “Account Management” and then “Update account information.”

Clicking on Account Management, then Update account information, takes you to your contact information.

You can see the type of account next to “You are”.

You will need to know what type of account you have during the activation procedure, so you may want to make a note which account type you have.

Verify Email Address

On the same page further down you can see the email address for the account. This email address will be used to verify your new V5 account, so make sure it is correct.

The email address field appears lower down on the account information page.

Warning

You must check the box “I authorize Gandi to be a designated ICANN agent” before you can edit the email address.

Once you have verified your information is correct, you are ready to proceed to the next step. In this step you will begin the process of activating your account in Gandi V5.
