Using RESTful HTTP API with LiveDNS

In #gandiV5 you are able to make changes to your DNS Records using RESTful API.

Some of the features this allows you do to are:

• bulk record management,

• linking the zone to multiple domains in your account,

• making versions, and rolling back to a previous version (snapshots).

You can get your API key for LiveDNS from https://account.gandi.net/en/changeme/username/security (replace „changeme“ with your username).

Legacy XML/RPC API

You can use our legacy API for most operations, however note that it is incompatible with managing DNS records on domains using our LiveDNS, as well as GandiMail. Using this would imply some access and use of our classic website.

You can use https://dns.api.gandi.net/api/v5/nameservers/toto.com this URL (replace toto.com with your domain) to find the LiveDNS you would need to use for your domains‘ nameservers.
