A team is a group of Gandi “users” who have a set of permissions to an “organization”’s products and/or its legal and billing information. The rights are granted to the team as a whole, so each member of the team has the same rights. They affect all the products owned by the organization.
Creating a team allows an organization to grant some permissions to the products it owns to other Gandi users.
The permissions granted to a team will apply to all the products owned by the organization. If you wish to only grant permissions for a single domain, we recommend adding them as a domain contact instead. See domain contacts for more information.
For example, it can allow an organization to grant all technical rights on its domain names to a contractor who will configure them and host the related websites.
